Halloween Latin Night

Halloween Latin Night runs from 10 PM on October 31 until 2 AM. My Roots is billing it as more than a social: the whole building is set up for a Halloween party built around Latin dance, with something going on in every room.

Two dance rooms run at once, with salsa, bachata, cumbia and more on the speakers, so you can switch rooms when the music changes and always find a floor that suits you. Come with a partner, come with friends, or come alone and dance with whoever asks.

When you need a break, the lounge is serving specialty Halloween cocktails and tacos. It is the place to cool off between songs, catch up with your crew and watch the costumes go by.

Costumes are strongly encouraged. There is a costume contest with a cash prize, so dress to impress or dress to scare. The studio has also promised a few Halloween surprises during the night without saying what they are.

For dancers who want to learn something new, there are sensual bachata workshops as part of the night. Registration for the workshops goes through @bachatanights_lv on Instagram, so send them a message to save your place.

The party is at My Roots Dance Studio, 6070 S Fort Apache Rd Ste 200, in southwest Las Vegas. Free outdoor parking is on site, right outside the door, so getting home after 2 AM is simple.
