Bachata Dance Classes in Las Vegas
Bachata is not a side offering here. It is in our company's name, it fills four weekly classes across every level, and it plays all night at our socials. If you searched for bachata classes near you, this page is the whole map: which class fits you, when it runs and how to try it free.
The Bachata Studio in Las Vegas
Most Las Vegas studios teach a bachata class. We built a bachata program: a four-class ladder that takes students from never-danced to confident on a social floor, taught by instructors who grew up with this music and dance it every weekend. The company behind My Roots is literally named Boxing Bachata. This dance is the reason the studio exists.
The teaching foundation is Dominican bachata, the root style, because students who learn the root can dance with anyone: traditional, modern or sensual. From there the program splits by what you want to develop. Partner connection has its own dedicated class. Footwork and styling have theirs. And every first and third Saturday, the social night turns the studio into the floor where it all gets used.
Classes run weeknight evenings between 6:30 and 9:30 PM, sized for real instruction and taught with rotation, so booking alone is normal. Your first group class is free. After that, your first month of classes is $75, and we walk you through regular packs once you know how often you want to dance.

Bachata Questions, Answered
Where are your bachata classes located?
At 6070 Fort Apache Rd Ste 200, at Fort Apache and Patrick in southwest Las Vegas, about 10 minutes from the 215/Tropicana interchange. If you searched for bachata classes near you from Spring Valley, Summerlin, Henderson or anywhere in the valley, we are typically a 10 to 30 minute drive with free parking at the door.
I have never danced bachata. Which class do I start with?
Bachata Level 1. It assumes zero experience: the basic step is four counts and comes together the first night. Your first group class is free, and your first month is $75.
Do I need to bring a partner to bachata class?
No. Every bachata class rotates partners every few minutes, so students book alone all the time. Dancing with different partners is also how you actually learn to lead and follow.
What style of bachata do you teach?
The Dominican foundation first, because it is the root that works in every bachata room: traditional, modern and sensual. Level 2 and the footwork class build styling on top of that base, and private lessons cover sensual styling for students who want to specialize.
Where can I dance bachata socially after class?
At our Latin social nights, where bachata plays all night alongside salsa and cumbia. Students use the socials to practice what they learned that week on a real floor with a live DJ.
