Payment information is collected and processed by our third-party payment processor. We do not store full payment card numbers ourselves.

4. Text Messaging (SMS)

If you opt in, we send recurring automated transactional text messages from My Roots Dance Studio, including booking confirmations, class reminders, waitlist updates, and account notifications.

We do not share or sell mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in/consent information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Phone numbers collected for text messaging are used solely to deliver the messages you opted into and are never uploaded to or shared with advertising platforms.

We use Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel to understand how visitors use our site and to run advertising. We may create email-based custom and lookalike advertising audiences from general marketing leads and customers.

Phone numbers collected with SMS consent are excluded from all advertising-platform audiences and uploads, consistent with Section 4 above.

We share personal information only with service providers who help us operate the studio — including our payment processor, email and SMS delivery providers, and the analytics and advertising platforms described above — and only as needed to provide those services. As stated above, mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in/consent information are never shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes.

My Roots Dance Studio offers classes for minors. We collect a child's information only through and with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian, who provides any required consent. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent.

Parents or legal guardians may contact myrootslv@gmail.com to review or request deletion of their child's information.

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet our legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect the information we hold; however, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
