About Kids Ballroom
Kids Ballroom introduces young dancers to the elegance and discipline of classic ballroom — waltz, foxtrot, swing and Latin ballroom basics. Beyond the dances themselves, the class teaches posture, frame, etiquette and the partner skills that translate to weddings, school dances, debutante events and real-world social situations.
What you'll learn
Kids learn the box step, basic frame, lead-follow signals and beginner versions of the waltz, foxtrot, East Coast swing and rumba. The class also covers ballroom etiquette — how to ask for a dance, how to thank a partner, how to move politely around a crowded floor — life skills that quietly pay dividends for years.
Why this class works
Ballroom builds posture, focus and social grace in ways no other dance style does. Our class delivers it in a structured, age-appropriate format that treats kids like capable young dancers, not little kids. Parents love the polish; kids love the music and the partnering games we use to keep energy high.
