About Salsa Level 2
Salsa Level 2 is where social dancers stop counting in their head and start actually dancing. Built for Salsa Level 1 graduates and dancers already comfortable on the floor, this Sunday-night intermediate room layers in multi-turn combinations, clean shines, cross-body variations and the kind of musical phrasing that separates a good night from a great one. The pace is honest, the corrections are real, and the room is full of dancers committed to getting better.
What you'll learn
Expect cross-body lead variations, hammerlocks, copas, double turns for leads and follows, and clean shines you can drop into the middle of a song. We drill musicality — hitting breaks, riding the clave, choosing moves that match the moment — and leads sharpen their signaling while follows sharpen spins and balance. Every drill is designed to translate directly to the social floor, not just look good in the mirror.

Once the basic, a cross-body lead and a simple turn feel automatic with any partner — usually 2–3 months of Level 1 — Level 2 is your next room.
Do I need a partner?
No partner needed at Level 2 — rotation continues so your new patterns work on everyone, not just one person you've memorized.
Can I drop in or do I need a package?
Either — Level 2 is drop-in friendly, and class packs bring the per-class rate down if you're coming weekly (which is how people actually level up).
