About Bachata Level 2
Bachata Level 2 is where bachata stops feeling like steps and starts feeling like dancing. Built for graduates of Bachata Level 1 and dancers already comfortable with the basics, this Sunday-night class layers in multi-turn patterns, smooth body movement, cleaner partner connection and the musicality that makes a dancer stand out on a social floor. The vibe is focused but warm, and the room is full of dancers serious about getting better.
What you'll learn
Expect intermediate turn patterns for both leads and follows, body-rolls and styling that integrate into partnering instead of looking tacked on, cambré (dips) introduced safely, and footwork variations that play with the slow-slow-quick-quick instead of just walking through it. We also drill connection: tone in the frame, breathing with your partner and reading lead intention before it lands.
Why this class works
Sunday Level 2 is small enough for individual corrections and serious enough that everyone in the room is leveling up together. Instructors rotate partners constantly so you feel the move in five or six different bodies — the fastest way to internalize what 'right' actually feels like. Most dancers in this room are also social-dancing weekly, which raises the floor of the whole class.
